The Face of NYFW Spring/Summer 2015

Eyes and nails pop at Angel Sanchez.

The runways are rife with beautiful looks for the upcoming season each year at Fashion Week. Models are prepped and primed to showcase the latest and greatest design concepts coupled by the artistry of our industry’s talented hair, skin care and makeup tastemakers. However, there is always a few looks that stand out from the rest—as seen at the Angel Sanchez show.

Morgan Taylor’s lead manicurist Gina Edwards created a captivating geometric blue nail for the designer's S/S 2015 runway. A custom blended pale aquamarine composed of Morgan Taylor in Varsity Jacket Blues and Make It Last clear top coat was applied as the base and was topped with a cuticle-hugging, asymmetrical swoosh in Morgan Taylor Who-Dini, a gray blue crème, that transitioned to the outside edge of the nail. The look was given a high-shine finish with Morgan Taylor in Need For Speed.

On the model pictured, a wash of yellow eyeshadow, natural brows and a brush of soft color on the lips completed this fresh face for Spring and Summer 2015.
